Matt Holden discusses the Indie Game Alliance.
Matt started the IGA four years ago to help small publishers and designers get their games demoed at conventions and game stores, and it’s grown into a robust organization that offers quite a few services.

Thanks for having me on! It was a great time!
Great podcast – unfortunately, when I tried to join the IGA, the final screen with terms and conditions on it also had a ReCAPTCHA box which I couldn’t find, even after turning off all pop-up and ad-blockers. Also, the insistence on filling out so many pages and boxes proved a stumbling block… Shame, as it looks like a worthy cause.
Hey there! Sorry you had a rough go of it. We know we ask for a lot of information, but unfortunately, because we rely so heavily on automation as I mentioned in the podcast, the system needs a bunch of information in order to be able to do its work. I am surprised the captcha held you up, as it’s the standard Google one, but if it’s giving you that much trouble I would be happy two administrative Lee create you an empty account and then you can set things up as you wish from the dashboard.
Thanks, Matt,
Having filled in all the boxes, it was just disconcerting to fall at the final hurdle (with multiple browsers btw – Explorer, Opera and Chrome — I have strong security on my browser, but not usually a problem with Captchas and the like)… I will try and contact IGA directly, and we’ll try again in the next few weeks.
IGA has been great from top to bottom.
Gate Keeper Games works with IGA on most every service they offer. A+s.
