Gin Yu and Alex Hall, filmmakers with Gin and Tonic Films, discuss their new web series Getting on Board.
Gin and Alex have been interviewing and following game designers around for a while and filming their different processes.
I had a ton of fun with this episode, and I think you’ll get a kick out of it as well.

Gabe,
I’ve either been on military duty or relaxing in Cancun with my daughter these past few weeks, so I’m only now catching up with my podcasts. I absolutely love the energy these to ladies brought to their filming and by extension, to your show. I’m looking forward to viewing their work and am sorry that I missed their campaign on KS, as I would’ve been an immediate Backer.
As a designer I had to laugh when you mentioned that much of design work is staring at your computer or performing arts and crafts, which doesn’t exactly make for thrilling video…but, it sounds as though they had a wonderful rapport with their subjects. Anyway, thanks for a great episode!
This was such a fun episode. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I’m developing a game now. This podcast was helpful. Thank you.
