Gabe,
I listened to this interview while driving up I-95 to New York last week. Thank you for this outstanding interview…as someone who was tangentially connected to the artwork for the game I serve as Lead Developer, I think it’s essential that folks considering artwork come to the realization that you’re paying for a service based on creativity. As someone who cannot draw a proportional stick figure, I stand in awe of those who can render…well, anything. I appreciate the fact that Adrienne went into the costs associated with this side of the enterprise.
Cheers,
Joe
I learn something from every interview, but this one had a TON of great info that most people just aren’t aware of. Hopefully, this will help people make better connections and form better relationships with artists.
Gabe,
I think this is one of the most important and least talked about subjects in board game design. Thank you for this great and detailed interview!
Tim
Thanks, Tim. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
