Dustin Schwartz, professional rulebook writer, discusses what makes a great rulebook and lots of tips and tricks on how to put together a ruleset that’s easy to teach and easy to learn.
Dustin wrote 40 rulebooks in 2017 and is looking to write 100 in 2018, so he’s got a TON of experience on what makes a rulebook great.

Hiya,
This episode was fantastic, and so much help so thankyou Gabe and Dustin. I was shading the game board while listening intently on my headphones, making notes as I went.
It was also lovely hearing that wanting to contribute to a community led to being able to make a living from helping it. Marvellous stuff, and so many useful pointers. I’ll check out fontawesome too – formatting icons into a body of text has always been a bugbear.
I’ll be listening to a few more of these this morning, so thankyou again!
Paul
I’m glad to be along for your new adventure. Thanks for listening!
