Vincent Vergonjeanne, founder of Lucky Duck Games, discusses games that use digital components in their design.
Vincent runs his own video game company and has been quite successful in both the digital space and the board game industry, so he really knows a lot about this topic.

Gabe,
I’m fascinated, as one who loves Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective (SH:CD), to learn more about how they plan to have their game play out. One of the things I heard during the interview which kind of surprised me was to leave the observation up to the players. That could present unintended consequences as some folks simply lack perception and may not pick-up on the clues and that’s where a game like SH:CD shines. It also reminds me of RPGs where by the Gamemaster can move the narrative forward because the character, not the player, interacts with the world.
Anyway, it sounds as though they’ll do quite well on KS and I wish them the best of luck.
Cheers,
Joe
Great interview Gabe and Vincent 🙂
