You all mentioned a couple of programs that helped you track and keep track of you email lists. Do you by chance have a list of those that you would recommend?
Hi Paul! First and foremost I’ve been using a simple spreadsheet. There are probably more efficient ways but since I collected the majority of my emails through pen and paper I had to input them in one at a time anyways. I label each signup sheet with the event I attended and then I just tag them in the spreadsheet as I added them. Reading and transcribing written emails can be difficult so I run them through an email checker if I have any trouble reading the handwriting (just search email checker and there are a bunch of free sites that do this).
I also used Launchrock to collect emails from the web. It’s a pretty straight forward service designed to put up a “Coming soon…” style page with an email form. I also added these emails into my spreadsheet. I’ve since graduated to a Squarespace website with an embedded Mailchimp email form. I now use Mailchimp to send out my email blasts.

Thank you very much Mr. Chen!
